This brief examines the current status of and potential for Russian investment in India, identifying areas and mechanisms of economic cooperation alongside existing challenges to promoting bilateral ties. While Indian companies invested more than US$760 million in the Russian economy in 2024, Russia invested around US$200 million in India.
