Mark Cooper admitted everything he wished for came to fruition after more than 1,000 people turned up to watch Windsor & Eton’s inaugural home match in the Thames Valley Premier League at the weekend. “What a surreal day, everything I wished for came to fruition,” said Windsor & Eton chairman Cooper. “It is a day I am extremely proud of. Ex players, ex managers, a lot of fans who haven’t been down here since the original Windsor & Eton played many years ago turned up. I was hoping it was written in the stars that we’d get that perfect ending to the day.
