Getty Images--Marlow’s Tyrrell Hatton was one of only three players to go unbeaten at the Marco Simone Golf Course in Rome as Europe won back the Ryder Cup from the USA this weekend. At the very heart of their resounding win was Marlow’s finest Hatton, who won three of his four matches and tied the other across the four days. A strong start in the Saturday morning foursomes saw the Europeans place on hand on the Ryder Cup. Afterwards, Hatton told Reuters: “Obviously, I lost my last two singles in previous Ryder Cups. “So happy to help bring the Ryder Cup back Rome.”The USA will have home advantage in the next Ryder Cup, due to take place at Bethpage Black on Long Island, New York State in September 2025.
