By Najat KantouarMarston's reported an increase in like-for-like sales during the Christmas period, reflecting continued business momentum. The pub-operator chain said on Tuesday that like-for-like sales for the sixteen weeks period to Jan. 20 were up 8.1% driven by strong business over the festive period. The group's total retail sales for the period rose to 8.8% compared with the same period a year earlier, reflecting strong drink and food sales.
