But it didn’t settle for me an issue that’s been nagging me for months — we need a better option than prison for cases like this. But I still can’t shake the feeling that locking this man up simply compounds the waste of the lost and altered lives with even more waste. What does locking Sidhu up accomplish? But, again, back to the question: what does locking this man up accomplish? But if we truly seek justice, we need better middle-ground options for this case and others like it.
