More users are banking on digital products like smart TVs, smartphones, set up boxes, smart speakers, and so on. And I think that has really increased the demand for those products," said Anku Jain, Managing Director, MediaTek India , during the 8th edition of the MediaTek Technology Diaries held virtually on Tuesday.MediaTek is also betting on AIoT, AIoT-driven R&D, innovation, user experiences, and smart devices like smart TV, and Chromebooks. "Chromebooks itself is a very great, great segment that we are talking about these days. We are fully ready to usher in the next phase of 5G-era with full-scale products, R&D, and supply infrastructure. We are happy to partner with MediaTek in the journey together, we will continue to develop and bring 5G smartphones in India and globally,” added Madhav Sheth, VP, Realme and CEO, Realme India and Europe.Sheth added that Realme will also partner with MediaTek in the IoT category, and will launch TWS and smart TV products in India in near future powered by MediaTek technologies.
