Ahmad went into the dining hall and asked the dining hall manager if they could donate unused food to the local homeless community. She soon found that it was difficult to match the excess food her dining hall had with the amount and kind of food local non-profits and aid organizations needed. In creating her company Copia, Ahmad went through several business models before she landed on one that fit. After the first few years of growing her startup, Ahmad is excited for what comes next.
