Sudha Murty completed her engineering at a time when it was not easy for females to become engineer. You would be surprised to know that Sudha Murty gave Rs 10,000 to her husband Narayana Murthy when he wanted to start his own company. According to Sudha Murty, Narayana Murthy’s words proved to be the game-changer. Sudha Murty decided to give a loan of Rs 10,000 to Narayana Murthy and he launched Infosys in 1981 from a one-bedroom apartment.
