The coalition — Regional Democratic Alliance (RDA) –comprises the NPP, the United Democratic Party (UDP), Hill State People’s Democratic Party (HSPDP) and the BJP. UDP president and RDA chairman Donkupar Roy said that NPP was extended support on the condition that Sangma is made the CM. “People are fed up with the corrupt Congress government and looking for a change,” Mr Sangma had said earlier.
