Meghan Markle took David and Victoria Beckham "for a ride" before ditching them amid fears she would be overshadowed by their star power, a royal biographer has claimed. It has emerged that the blossoming friendship between Meghan and her husband Prince Harry and the Beckhams has cooled. And he has now expanded on that story, saying Harry has told aides he did not want to be seen with Beckham. Bower also accused Meghan of thinking "she was Diana" on the trip, in reference to Harry's late mother. Bower is writing a biography on the Beckhams which is bound to touch on their relationship with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
