The Duchess of Sussex has applied to the High Court to stop the Mail and Mail on Sunday from naming her pals in the ongoing lawsuit against the paper's publisher. She hit out at the publisher for attempting to 'create a circus' to distract from the point of her case. The Mail justified publishing the letter by saying five unnamed friends of Meghan had put her version of events in interviews with the U.S. magazine People. The publisher of the Mail on Sunday is the one on trial," Meghan said in a witness statement.
