07:35Another resident at Arcare Maidstone has tested positive for Covid-19, the aged care facility has confirmed. An email sent on Wednesday afternoon to the families of residents in the facility confirmed the resident would be transported to hospital. It is the second resident to test positive at the centre in Melbourne’s west, along with two workers. “We are saddened to report that we have 1 additional client who has tested positive. This client will be transferred to hospital for public health reasons, coordinated by the Victorian Department of Health,” Arcare chief executive officer Colin Singh said in the email.
