Met Éireann has issued a fresh weather warning for Cork and Kerry with the counties set for a weekend washout. The two counties will be under a status yellow wind and rain warning from midday on Saturday until 8pm that evening. Cork, Kerry, and Waterford are already under a status yellow rain warning until 9pm on Friday, while a wind warning for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, and Sligo is in place until the same time. Met Éireann has also issued a fresh status yellow wind warning for Donegal, Galway, Mayo and Sligo on Saturday. Met Éireann said there will be "blustery heavy showers" with embedded hail and some thunderstorms too.
