The Extreme Heat Warning, which is issued with public health partners across the UK, will cover a large part of Wales, all of southwest England and parts of southern and central England. Tomorrow will be another mostly sunny and hot day with higher temperatures extending further north into Northern Ireland and southern Scotland, the Met Office said. "Many areas will continue to reach heatwave thresholds but the amber extreme heat warning focusses on western areas where the most unusually high temperatures are likely to persist. The Met Office warned possible repercussions of such sizzling temperatures include a health risk to the most vulnerable and disruption to infrastructure such as transport and energy.
