And it's intended to be as powerful as the most advanced model offered by OpenAI - the maker of ChatGPT. It said the AI model will be more powerful than its commercial version, known as Llama 2. That is Meta's open source AI language model, launched in July to compete with ChatGPT and Google's Bard. The Journal reported the planned system would help other companies build services that produce sophisticated text, analysis and other output. A Bloomberg report in July said tech giant Apple is also working on similar AI offerings.
