New York Mets third baseman David Wright has a herniated disk in his neck and could be headed to the disabled list. Wright was on the DL from April 15 to Aug. 24, 2015, after he strained his right hamstring and then developed spinal stenosis. He is batting .226 with seven home runs, 14 runs batted in and 55 strikeouts in 137 at-bats. Wright, 33, did not play Monday for the third consecutive day. The New York Yankees put infielder Dustin Ackley on the 15-day DL because of a dislocated right shoulder suffered Sunday as he dove back into first base on a pickoff play.
