Mets look to add punch behind the plate by signing ex-Nationals catcher Wilson Ramos

(Elsa/Getty Images)The Mets have agreed to a two-year, $19 million contract with free agent catcher Wilson Ramos, according to multiple reports Sunday. Wilson Ramos has gotten 400+ PA with at least a 120 OPS+ in two of the past three seasons. The addition of Ramos has not been officially announced , but it is expected to end the Mets' pursuit of J.T. The team also met with another free agent catcher, Yasmani Grandal, during the winter meetings but preferred the cost of Ramos.
