Schwartz said he believed the legal quotes came from Danya Perry, a different attorney for Cohen. “If I had believed that Mr. Cohen had found these cases, I would have researched them. However, it was my belief that Mr. Cohen sent me the cases found by Ms. Perry,” Schwartz said. Judge Furman gave all parties until January 3 to submit additional comments regarding potential restrictions and whether Cohen is entitled to early termination of supervised release.
