Sesko was named among Michael Carrick’s substitutes in Sunday’s Premier League contest but came on in place of Matheus Cunha in the 74th minute, with United leading 2-0 at Old Trafford. ‘That will do him no end of good,’ ex-United and England forward Owen said on Premier League Productions after Sesko’s late heroics.
