The Fourth Avenue Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Ann Arbor posted a tempting, mouth-watering offer on Facebook on Friday: the restaurant would discount patrons’ total food bill by whatever percentage equaled the Wolverines’ margin of victory Saturday. Then Michigan went out and trounced Rutgers 78-0, which seemed to many to mean a whopping 78 percent discount. Alas, the “Score Big” ad clearly capped the offer at “up to 50 percent” off on food for the rest of the season. And the promotion is only available Sunday through Thursday because you know there’s always a catch.
