If you're the majority of Windows 10 users, what's the first thing you do after a fresh installation of Microsoft's OS? I'm betting you launch the Edge browser (the replacement for Internet Explorer) to search for a download of either Firefox or Google Chrome. Well, Microsoft has added another tactic to discourage you from using open source alternatives to its browser, and it's downright invasive. Users are then given a blue button to "Open Microsoft Edge" and a grey button to "Install Anyway." At the register while you're checking out, Microsoft barges in and aggressively suggests you're making a bad choice, so here's Edge instead.
