And Bothroyd, who supports Arsenal and came through the club’s academy, has urged the Gunners to beat competition from their Premier League rivals to sign Rogers. When asked which club would be the best fit for Rogers, Bothroyd told Sky Sports: ‘Arsenal… he walks into Arsenal’s team. ‘I feel like with [Eberechi] Eze, he’s probably Arsenal’s No.10, I would like to see Morgan Rogers playing there and tucking inside, I think he’s a great player. I don’t think Rogers would fit into that if he wants to play week in, week out.
