A new survey suggests millennials are leading a gradual resurgence of interest when it comes to attending Remembrance Day ceremonies. But the online survey suggests Canadians between 18 and 34 are the ones most likely to pay their respects in person. The poll found 37 per cent of millennial respondents planned to attend a ceremony, well ahead of the 29 per cent of baby boomers over age 55 who were surveyed. Just 23 per cent of survey participants aged between 35 and 54, classed as members of generation X, expressed an intention of going to an official ceremony. The survey found that 73 per cent of participants have heard directly from veterans at some point in their lives.
