Millions are unemployed. Why can’t companies find workers?


Many people are receiving more in unemployment benefits than they would earn in the available jobs. Some employers and economists cite enhanced unemployment benefits as another factor. More than 16.1 million people received unemployment benefits the week ended April 17, the Labor Department said Thursday.
