The government will increase internal railway tracks as well, said the minister while speaking at the “Meet the Press” program at Railway Bhaban in Dhaka. Nurul Islam also said the feasibility study of the hi-speed train service on Dhaka-Chittagong route is being carried out, reports the UNB. "To make the railway sector a profitable one, carrying of goods will be prioritized along," he said. "The government is also committed to rooting out ticket blacking," said Nurul Islam adding that the railway sector will be made more service oriented.
