And today, Health Minister Lord Bethel indicated the delivery of the app had slipped even further. Asked to confirm what the problem was with the app, he said: "The latest test and trace numbers will be published tomorrow, tomorrow morning I believe. Yesterday, a leading health academic said the UK’s Covid-19 contact tracing system was "nowhere near" world beating, as promised by the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister pledged in May that a there would be a "world beating" test track and trace operation by June 1.
