more-inThe Moinabad police registered a case against a 13-year-old boy for allegedly raping a five-year-old girl. The boy was booked under Sections 376(2)(f) of the IPC and under the POCSO Act. The incident took place around 8.30 p.m. on the main road between Mirzaguda and Kanapur villages. Benedict had been under financial stress and hence took the extreme step, said an official of the north zone police. The incident took place on Saturday evening, when the complainant, Lavanya Prasad, was having dinner and also consuming alcohol.
