Mintah Akandoh said one of the key issues identified by the committee is the lack of proper coordination across health facilities. The system will connect ambulance services with hospitals, enabling patients to be directed to the appropriate facility in real time. “We are going to pilot with the regional and the teaching hospitals. When there is an emergency and the person is on the bed for more than 24 hours," he stated.
