A report in Hindustan Times suggests that a delegation of ministers from Haryana led by states Sports Minister Anil Vij didn’t go to watch any event on Monday and missed the quarterfinal bout of pugilist Vikas Krishan, a DSP in the Haryana police. The same report claims that the delegation missed discus thrower Seema Poonia and Greco-Roman wrestler Ravinder Khatri’s events as well. Reacting to the reports, Anil Vij wrote on Facebook (sic):Journalist Friends, that is right wrongly or rightly I accepted the decision of my Govt. We are doing a lot for our Haryana players.
