A five-year-old girl who went missing from north Wales is thought to have been taken to Ireland by her father. Police believe Molly Owens was taken by with her father, Brian, 26, after he failed to turn up to a court hearing last week. Owens was facing sentencing at Caernarfon magistrates’ court on Friday for three counts of assault for beating the same woman on three different occasions. Police were alerted to the disappearance of his daughter on the same day, and investigators announced today that Owens and his daughter are believed to be in Ireland with Elaine Doutch, 31.
