A police officer in Biloxi, Miss., was fatally shot late Sunday night and authorities are hunting for the gunman, reports said. WLOX reported that the officer was rushed to a nearby hospital and died in the emergency room. Authorities reportedly released a photo of the suspect. There is a multiagency investigation, including the Gulfport police, Harrison County Sheriff’s Office and the district attorney’s office, according to the Biloxi Sun Herald. The officer was reportedly shot multiple times.
