The Election Commission of Delhi is scheduled to organize polls for Municipal Corporation of Delhi on 4th December, the state body announced on Friday. As per the official notification, interested candidates can file nominations for wards starting from Monday i.e. 7th November and the last date for filing is capped on 14th November. The last date for withdrawal of candidatures is 19th November. The election date is tentatively scheduled on 4th December (Sunday) with the counting and declaration of result of the MCD polls to be done on 7th December.
