Modi in Parliament highlights: Every defence deal by Cong had a middleman, says PM

Modi in Parliament highlights: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has begun his reply to the debate on the motion of thanks on the President’s address in Lok Sabha on Thursday. In his reply, Modi accused the Congress of insulting Central institutions during its rule, saying they had called the erstwhile Planning Commission a “bunch of jokers”. He also coined new acronyms for BC and AD. “BC stands for ‘Before Congress’ while AD stands for ‘After Dynasty’,” PM Modi said. Participating in the debate in Lok Sabha on the Motion of Thanks to the President’s address, Leader of the Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge mocked the government’s announcements for farmers in the budget, saying it has done nothing for the agriculture sector so far and was now making promises with an eye on the general election.
