Rehman Malik was delivering an address at a webinar on “Worsening Regional Security Situation; Threat of World War-III” on Thursday. He said that Pakistan had been facing numerous security threats both on national and international fronts since its independence. Malik said that in 1971, India created differences between East and West Pakistan, and a special intelligence operation was launched in East Pakistan from West through India. Malik said that till Narendra Modi is the Prime Minister of India, peace between India and Pakistan and in the region is impossible. He said that if we didn’t formulate a strategy to protect ourselves and contribute to resolving hot issues around us that can ignite World War III.
