The Reds have relinquished their Premier League title in disappointing fashion, currently sixth in the table and 26 points behind league leaders Manchester City. Asked what he would have said if this situation was presented to him at the start of the season, Salah says it would be unbelievable. ‘It’s sad for us, it’s not great to not see us in the Champions League next season. I don’t know how to describe it, but it’s so hard.’Liverpool will continue their efforts to make it back into the top four on Sunday against Manchester United at Old Trafford, which Salah admits is must win.
