The man who netted a stunning 46 goals last term will have failed to score in four consecutive games should he fail to score against the Saints at Anfield. Salah has never gone more than three matches without slotting for the Reds, who are currently joint top of the Premier League standings after winning all five of their opening matches. The last time Salah failed to score in three consecutive matches was at the back end of 2016. Having netted a hat-trick in Roma’s 3-0 win against Bologna on November 6, Salah was not on target again until Egypt’s African Cup of Nations win against Ghana on January 25. While so often the main man last season, Salah has scored just two of Liverpool’s 14 goals so far this campaign.
