Money Exchangers, Petty Traders Praise President Weah For Keeping Promise

Monrovia - Money exchangers, petty traders and marketers in the Rehab Community outside Monrovia, have lauded President George Weah for fulfilling promise made to them. President Weah erected a temporary structure that enables them to comfortably and safely conduct their business activities, while a market building is being constructed for petty traders and marketers. Speaking to journalists on Wednesday, March 28, in the Rehab Community, the money exchangers said the President’s gesture to build the structure is in fulfillment of the campaign promise he made during the election. “The Money Changers did not make any formal request to the President to build the structure." Harris appealed to President Weah to extend the gesture to other parts of the country where other money exchangers are encountering constraints to transact business in furtherance of his government’s pro-poor agenda.
