This is because the American over-the-top content platform and production company announced that the fifth and final season of the acclaimed series would be out towards the end of the year. In a statement to news outlets, Netflix revealed that Money Heist season five would be split into two installments of five episodes each. According to Pina, the team decided to change things, considering the coronavirus pandemic and the final season.
