Deputy Clendennen said that the cabinet’s approval of the initiative represents a significant opportunity to further develop tourism in Moneygall and across Offaly. “This new American Presidents' Trail gives us a real opportunity to build on that legacy, attracting more visitors, supporting local businesses and further strengthening community pride.”Deputy Clendennen said Moneygall should play a central role in the trail given its proven appeal to American visitors. “I look forward to working with the Minister, local authorities and local community groups to ensure Moneygall and Offaly are to the forefront as this trail is rolled out.”
