This evening, Kim's wife Ri Sol-ju crossed the border into South Korean territory to attend a summit dinner hosted by South Korean President Moon Jae-in. It was the first time any North Korean leader had brought his wife to a summit with a South Korean president. Ri will dine with her Southern counterpart Kim Jung-sook, the wife of South Korean President Moon Jae-in.
