Monrovia – The Mayor of Monrovia Jefferson T. Koijee on Tuesday visited the Monrovia City Corporation Whein Town Landfill Sanitation site which was gutted by fire late Sunday's evening. Mayor Koijee, speaking to residents of Whein Town, said the MCC's family regrets the fire incident. Mayor Koijee further said, "The Monrovia City Corporation under my leadership will enhance a cordial relationship with community members of Whein Town in Paynesville and also beef up security presence at the site". The Whein Town Community Chairman Myers Gibson lauded the timely intervention of Mayor Koijee. Whein Town landfill Sanitation site is mostly use by the Monrovia City Corporation for waste disposal.
