Monsoon trough to bring rains to Luzon, VisayasThe Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Sunday the monsoon trough will continue to affect Luzon and Visayas. In its 5:00 a.m. weather bulletin, PAGASA noted Luzon and Visayas, along with the regions of Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao and Caraga will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms. The state weather bureau also said other areas in Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Visayas and the rest of Luzon will also have moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest to west. Other areas will have light to moderate winds from the southwest to west, reflecting slight to moderate seas.
