King City police are investigating a weekend shooting that left three men and a woman dead. The city “is a vegetable center shipping the finest produce grown in the nation,” staff posted on the King City website. Monterey County Supervisor Chris Lopez, who represents King City, posted about the shooting on Facebook. King City Councilmember Carlos DeLeon also spoke about the shooting in a statement Monday.
