A new tool from the Washington Post shows AC days are on the rise across the country and will be at an all-time high by 2060. This two-degree difference increased the number of AC days to 90 days out of the 92-day season, an increase of 3 days from the previous era. Overall, the percent of summer days that require air conditioning will increase to around 87% for the country in 2060. Currently, about 71% of days need AC and only 66% of days needed air in 1981-2000.
