One in three Americans will opt out of getting a coronavirus vaccine if and when it becomes available, according to a new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll. Friday's results align with a previous poll conducted by Fox News between Aug. 9-12, which revealed that 26% of Americans wouldn't get a coronavirus vaccine. About 55% said they planned to, while 20% remained unsure, according to the poll results. Still, it has grown as the world rushes to create an inoculation for COVID-19, which has killed over 167,000 Americans to date, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
