DUNGUN: A total of 110 houses in Felda Jerangau were damaged after being hit by strong storm today. Also hit were two kindergartens, one of which was supposed to be used as the site for the 'korban' (slaughter) event on Aidiladha tomorrow. District Fire and Rescue Station chief Jamari Awang said a fallen tree also damaged a car and a lorry. Jamari said a team of 10 firemen were deployed to the scene in the 4pm incident. He said that as of 6pm, the team were still cleaning up the affected area.
