Morocco and Romania have signed a military and technical cooperation agreement that covers training and exercises, the defense industry, technical support and the exchange of expertise. The agreement was initialed this Tuesday in Rabat by Minister Delegate in charge of the National Defense Administration Abdeltif Loudyi and Romania’s Minister of National Defense, Angel Tîlvăr, who is on a working visit to Morocco at the head of a large delegation. The agreement also covers military health, cybersecurity, and the establishment of a joint military commission to define areas of cooperation. The joint commission will convene alternately in Rabat and Bucharest. The two sides also expressed their shared ambition to consolidate these relations in the future, through the implementation of the provisions of the just signed military and technical cooperation agreement, as well as through regular exchanges of visits by officials from both countries.
