After the strawberry fields and packaging plants north of Kenitra, a new cluster in Safi’s fish canning factories recorded 203 in a single day. Safi has since the beginning of the lockdown in Morocco been one of the least infected cities. Under Morocco’s health emergency status restrictive measures can be restored after they were lifted in early June. Most cases (98%) show no symptoms as the country implements an early detection process urging all companies to test their staff. By Monday, the country has recorded 14,329 cases including 9,837 recoveries and 235 deaths.
