King Mohammed VI appointed new chiefs in several key energy and logistics institutions. These include the Moroccan agency for sustainable energy MASEN, the electricity and water agency ONEE, Airports authority ONDA, ports agency ANP, and the highways company ADM, a statement by the palace spokesman said following a ministerial council held Saturday in Casablanca under the Chairmanship of the King. Key to Morocco’s energy transition efforts MASEN has long been without a Director General since its former head Mustapha Bakoury was removed. The airports authority, which braces for a series of upgrades in different airports, will be chaired by Adil El Fakir, former head of Morocco’s tourism promotion office ONMT. The highway agency ADM will be led by Mohammed Cherkaoui Eddeqaqi, while the national electricity and water agency (ONEE) will have Tarik Hammane as new director general.
