Mr O’Leary claimed the quarantine policy was pushed through only because the Prime Minister had announced it live on television. The Ryanair boss said the company will make face masks mandatory for passengers and staff, but asked governments to drop their quarantine measures. "We welcome the European Union’s recommendation on face masks, and call again on the Irish and UK Government to abandon their unexplainable, ineffective, and unimplementable quarantine restrictions.
